We proudly offer a warranty to the original owner, guaranteeing our products against defects in materials and workmanship. If your registered product experiences a failure due to a manufacturing defect within the provided warranty period, contact us immediately. We are dedicated to swiftly resolving any issues to ensure your safety on the water.

It’s important to note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, neglect, or normal wear and tear and is only valid if a full-service history, carried out by Ocean Safety approved service centres, is available

Jon Buoy by Ocean Safety

1. Scope of Warranty

Ocean Safety (“we” or “the Company”) offers a limited warranty (“the Warranty”) to the original owner of our products, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the product. Please review the following details carefully to understand the scope and limitations of this Warranty.

2. Warranty Exclusions

The Warranty does not apply to the following:

Normal Wear and Tear: This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by regular usage, wear on containers, or deployment-related damage.

Product Abuse or Misuse: Any evidence of product abuse or misuse, as determined by the Company, will void the Warranty.

Commercial or Business Use: Products used for commercial or business purposes are not covered under this Warranty.

Acts of God or Third Parties: Damage resulting from acts of nature or actions by third parties is not covered.

Non-Compliance with Maintenance Instructions: The product must be used and maintained at approved service stations following the instructions provided by the Company at the specified intervals.

Time-Expired Items: Replacement of time-expired items, such as lights and gas cylinders, which are typically replaced during the product’s lifespan, is not covered.

Jon Buoy Products Service Interval: For Jon Buoy products, please refer to your owner’s manual.

3. Extended Warranty

The extended warranty only applies to products purchased after January 1, 2019, by the original owner. This extended warranty is not transferable to a new owner and remains the sole responsibility of the original purchaser.

4. Warranty Claims

If you believe your product is eligible for a warranty claim based on the terms and conditions outlined above, please contact Ocean Safety immediately. We are committed to resolving warranty issues promptly and efficiently.

5. Disclaimer

This Warranty represents the sole and exclusive remedy available to the original owner of the product. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all other warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

6. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Ocean Safety reserves the right to modify or amend these Warranty Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be bound by the Warranty Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of the original product purchase.

Ocean Safety Leisure Liferaft

1. Warranty Coverage

Please carefully review the following terms and conditions regarding the scope of our product warranty (“the Warranty”). Ocean Safety (“we” or “the Company”) provides this Warranty to the original owner of our products. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. However, there are specific exclusions and conditions outlined below.

2. Warranty Exclusions

The Warranty does not cover the following:

Normal Wear and Tear: This includes damage resulting from regular usage, such as damaged containers or deployment-related damage.

Product Abuse or Misuse: Evidence of product abuse or misuse, as determined by the Company, will void the Warranty.

Commercial or Business Use: Products used for commercial or business purposes are not eligible for Warranty coverage.

Acts of Nature or Third Parties: Damage caused by acts of God or third parties is not covered.

Non-Compliance with Maintenance Instructions: To be eligible for Warranty coverage, the product must be used and maintained at an approved service station, following the intervals described in the provided instructions.

Time-Expired Items: The Warranty does not include the replacement of time-expired items, such as lights, water and rations, pyrotechnics, and gas cylinders, which are typically replaced during the product’s lifespan.

Service Intervals: For Ocean Safety liferafts, the minimum service interval is every 3 years, with annual servicing required after 12 years. If the raft contains a SOLAS B pack, it must be serviced every 2.5 years for the first 10 years, followed by annual servicing.

3. Extended Warranty

The extended warranty applies exclusively to products purchased after January 1, 2019, by the original owner. It is not transferable to a new owner.

4. Specific Liferaft Warranties

Please note that Ocean ISO liferafts have a warranty of 20 years, Ocean Safety Regatta Liferafts have a warranty of 12 years, and Ocean Safety Standard Liferafts have a warranty of 3 years.

5. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Ocean Safety reserves the right to modify or amend these Warranty Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be bound by the Warranty Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of the original product purchase.

Ocean Safety Leisure Lifejackets

The Warranty does not encompass the following:

Normal Wear and Tear: This includes wear and tear such as punctured bladders or worn-through covers that can reasonably be expected to occur over time.

Product Abuse or Misuse: Evidence of product abuse or misuse, as determined by the Company, will invalidate the Warranty.

Commercial or Business Use: Products used for commercial or business purposes are not eligible for Warranty coverage.

Extended or Extreme Use: Products worn for extended periods or in extreme conditions are not covered by the Warranty.

Acts of Nature or Third Parties: Damage resulting from acts of God or third parties is not included.

Non-Compliance with Maintenance Instructions: To qualify for Warranty coverage, the product must be used and maintained at an approved service station, following the intervals described in the provided instructions.

Time-Expired Items: The Warranty does not encompass the replacement of time-expired items, such as lights, automatic operating heads, or gas cylinders, which are typically replaced during the product’s lifespan.

3. Extended Warranty

The extended warranty is applicable exclusively to products purchased after January 1, 2019, by the original owner. It cannot be transferred to a new owner.

4. Minimum Service Interval

For Ocean Safety lifejackets, the minimum service interval is 1 year.

5. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Ocean Safety retains the right to modify or amend these Warranty Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be bound by the Warranty Terms and Conditions that are in effect at the time of the initial product purchase.
