Service club sign ups
Ocean Safety’s Service Club Membership a hit at Southampton
More than 60 people have signed up to Ocean Safety’s new ‘Service Club Member’ scheme at their Southampton Boat Show stand after only the fourth day. The initiative was launched at the show to keep customers’ safety equipment serviced and up to date, whilst taking advantage of a host of exclusive benefits.
The new Club Members have been attracted by Ocean Safety’s 10% discount on annual equipment servicing, as well as priority booking and inspections and timely servicing reminders.
“It’s incredibly reassuring to know that Ocean Safety have my equipment servicing in hand,” commented one yacht owner as he signed up to become a Service Club Member. “It’s good to have that feeling of trust knowing they will have everything prepared for me ready for the next season and that they are there to remind me to keep my kit in date.”
Ocean Safety’s Alistair Hackett commented, “We are really pleased with the popularity of this scheme. Looking at the sign up rate at the show so far, we can safety expect to exceed 100 new Members by the time the show closes and we expect this to grow considerably over the coming months as customers bring their equipment back for servicing before next spring.”
Membership ensures that liferafts, lifejackets, flares, EPIRBs, fire extinguishers and other service-date equipment are ready for the next sailing season. Ocean Safety offers free winter storage too so there’s no need to collect until you are ready.
