These chests are manufactured using UV stabilised polyethylene in a 4-5mm single skin. This makes them far more durable than alternatives made with thin double skins. The unique lid design with the marine bungie cord closure achieve an excellent IP rating of X5 so the contents will remain dry. The hinges are 316 Stainless steel and have proved to be 100% reliable. The cabinet base is reinforced for mounting to the deck.
